Tónlist fyrir langlínusamtöl verður haldið í annað sinn í Mengi þann 26. júlí klukkan níu. Fram koma Julius Pollux Rothlaender á píanó og rafhljóð, Ægir Sindri Bjarnason á trommur, Sólveig Eir Stewart, rödd, og viðmælandi hennar.

Ægir og Julius spila af fingrum fram yfir langlínusamtal Sólveigar og viðmælanda. Gestir fá að fylgjast með þeim í gegnum heyrnartól og sitja á púðum á gólfi rýmisins. Afar takmarkað pláss er á viðburðinn þar sem rúmlega 30 heyrnartól verða í boði en gestir eru hvattir til þess að koma með sín eigin ef þeir eiga.

Miðaverð er 2.000 krónur og hurðin opnar kl. 20:30. Viðburðurinn hefst svo klukkan 21:00.

What happens when we reinterpret well-known elements and look for new

connections, understand conversations to be more than just the exchange

of information and allow music to not only be organised in a time-lined,

song-based format?

If you listen closely, you might discover that there's more to all of

it, you might be able to find that there are bridges in between, that

there's music hiding within the intimacy of a spoken word, that somethings talks to us with every single note.

Music for long-distance calls is an explorative live-performance, a step into

the unknown.
