Í tilefni 8 ára afmælis MENGIS um næstkomandi helgi sýnir STAK veggspjöld sem gerð voru á fyrsta starfsári MENGIS. Hvert veggspjald sýnir dagskrá eins mánaðar í MENGI, frá desember 2013 til desember 2014.

Veggspjöldin á sýningunni eru eftir Ingibjörgu Birgisdóttur, Orra Jónsson og Nicolas Kunysz og eru þau gerð með blandaðri aðferð og í takmörkuðu magni.

Hvert veggspjald er einstakt listaverk sem er númerað og merkt af listamanni/konu. Þau fanga tíðarandann fyrsta starfsár MENGIS á einstaklega frumlegan og fallegan hátt.

Öll verkin á sýningunni eru til sölu. Þetta er því tilvalið tækifæri til að í senn eignast fallegt listaverk, lítinn hluta af sögu MENGIS og styðja með beinum hætti við starfsemi þess svo hún megi halda áfram að dafna.

This weekend we celebrate the 8th anniversary of MENGI with an exhibition at STAK of posters that were created in the first year of MENGI'S operation. Each poster lists the events of one month at MENGI, from December 2013 to December 2014.

The posters are by artists Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir, Orri Jónsson and Nicolas Kunysz and were created in limited quantity.

Each poster is a unique piece of art, signed and numbered by the artists. They capture the first year of MENGIs existence in a creative, artistic and beautiful manner.

The posters are available for purchase during the exhibition. It's a unique opportunity to acquire a beautiful piece of art, a piece of the MENGI history and at the same time to directly support the ongoing operation of MENGI so that it may continue to prosper.
