Jesse Beaman feels as comfortable playing in a packed indie-rock venue as he does in an old European theatre or a small experimental music space. His live performances transform any setting into a misty portal of ethereal sounds. Classical, ambient and electronica blend gorgeously and transition from quiet soft atmospheres to intense emotional peaks. Jesse captivates the audience by building each song slowly –one layer at a time– switching between piano, loop pedals, synthesizers and drums. You'd think the one-man-band show would be a highlight, but Beaman takes the attention away from himself with carefully designed visuals, such as stunning film projections, minimal lighting and a dynamic color palette. The Austin based composer has more than a decade of touring experience under his belt, including shows across 23 countries in North America, Latin America and Europe. He has shared the stage with important acts such as KAZU (Blonde Redhead), This Will Destroy You, White Denim, Julianna Barwick, Efterklang, Cocorosie and Silver Mt. Zion. After releasing his brilliant album Mira, produced by Brandon Curtis (of Interpol / The Secret Machines), Jesse Beaman is preparing for his most ambitious tour to date in 2022.
