Stavros Papadopulos is a free improvisation band from Slovakia. It acts as a platform for the musical explorations of performer Anna Čonková. Focusing at most on exploring the human voice in its various subject-object constellations as they push the boundaries of music. Within this platform, they have performed at many experimental music festivals in Slovakia. This time they come, three of them, to improvise and experiment together – Anna, Jakub and Johana. It will be a free improv show consisting of vocals, drums, objects, and electronic instruments.

Anna Čonková collaborates with musicians, especially ensembles focusing on interpreting contemporary music (e.g., Cluster ensemble, Musica Falsa et Ficta, Veni Academy), locally and abroad (Vienna, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia). She performed her sound poetry, for example, together with the Cluster ensemble in 2017 at the Vienna MUMOK as part of the Dots.Lines.Shapes project dedicated to the graphic scores of Slovak experimental musician Milan Adamčiak. She composed and presented an interpretation of sound poetry by this author also in collaboration with a choir placed in different spaces. She works as an actress in different state and independent theatres in Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. She gained her Master of Arts degree in Acting at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at het Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Now she is working on Ph.D. studies at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic. The focus of her research is on the holistic approach in voice education, especially on freeing the voice.

Johana Bártová is Czech theatre director.
She is also part of collaborative improvisation orchestra based in Prague- Safari jazz orchestra.
In this group she plays on her DIY instrument- plastic leg from figurine fixed with trumpet mouthpiece.
She also uses analogue audio tape recorder or small synths and percussive objects for her improvisation.

Jakub Šulík is Slovak theatre set designer and composer.
He often composes music for performance purposes. For improvisation he is usually performing on drums but sometimes he likes to find some unexpected object that he can can play and explore.
