Danish/Latvian duo Krabbadýrin is going to perform a free improvised music rooted in jazz. Danish trumpet player Erik Lunde Michaelsen and Latvian guitarist Edgars Rugajs, who is based in Iceland, will meet on stage to create a unique experience since every concert is freely improvised with just a few agreed connection points.

Krabbadýrin is a unique free jazz/improvised music duo that connect three nations while there are only two people participating. Edgars is a jazz guitarist from Latvia now living and working in Iceland and Erik Lunde Michaelsen is a Danish award-winning trumpet player. With his project Meutiviti, Erik won a Danish Music award for the jazz event of the year with his concert series Impro Fauna. The duo carries the idea of diversity in music, idea of sustainability in all aspects of life and, openness to whatever comes their way that inspires them to write new music and create performances that are different every time. Being from two different countries the duo brings a lot of diversity connecting Latvian, Icelandic and Danish experiences and working with how these all interact.
