Tónleikar og listasýning með tónlistar- og nýmiðlalistakonunni Sól Ey.

Undanfarin ár hefur Sól Ey búið til ýmis hljóðfæri sem tengja hljóð og hreyfingar saman. Nýjasta hljóðfærið hennar er Hreyfð - áklæðanlegt hljóðfæri og hátalarakerfi sem býr til hringóm (e. feedback) úr hreyfingum með hjálp hljóðnema, hátalara og staðsetningarskynjara, sem öll eru tengd við líkamann. Á tónleikunum verða flutt tvö ný verk fyrir Hreyfð í fyrsta skipti á Íslandi, auk þess sem tvær gagnvirkar innsetningar verða opnar fyrir og eftir tónleikana.

Concert and exhibition by the Icelandic composer and new media artist Sól Ey.

For the past years, Sól Ey has developed several instruments that make sounds with gestures. The latest example is Hreyfð - a wearable instrument and speaker system that creates audio-feedback from movements using microphones, speakers and sensors, all attached to the performer’s body.

At Mengi, she will present two new performances for Hreyfð for the first time in Iceland as well as two interactive installations.
