indek is a multimedia artist based in Kent, Ohio who channels elements of braindance, drill & bass, acid, electro, breakcore, and beyond into raw, frenetic live sets. Each performance is shaped by an unpredictable mix of styles, textures, and tempos, filtered through a lens of radical surrealism. Rhythms fracture, patterns convulse, and structures deform in real time as they are pushed to the edge of collapse and pulled back again.

Unlike the meticulously sculpted nature of indek’s studio recordings, the live sets are volatile and unstable. Focused on transformation, each performance deconstructs fragments of past and future compositions, stretching and reassembling them under pressure. Sounds are processed, reshaped, and recontextualized on the fly, forming fragile rhythmic structures where each element is vital and every moment one step from unraveling.

These performances are paired with surreal visuals composed of 3D scans of the artist’s face and body, merged with natural textures. Frozen in time yet set in motion, these forms drift through strange environments, distorting and reforming in sync with the sound. The result is an immersive experience that blurs the line between rhythm, body, and dimension.
