Lucy Railton kemur fram í Mengi fimmtudagskvöldið 28. september með magnaða efnisskrá í farteskinu sem samanstendur af tónlist eftir Alvin Lucier, John Cage, Giacinto Scelsi og Lucy Railton. Lucy Railton hefur getið sér orð sem sellóleikari, tónskáld, höfundur innsetninga og listrænn stjórnandi að ýmsum hátíðum og tónleikaröðum. Hún hefur spilað með mörgum af fremstu samtímatónlistarhópum Lundúna og Berlínar, en hún hefur jafna búsetu í þessum borgum, innsetningar hennar hafa verið settar upp í Tate Modern og Institute of Contemporary Arts í London svo dæmi séu tekin, hún er stofnandi og listrænn stjórnandi tónleikaraðarinnar Kammer Klang í Cafe Oto í London og einn af listrænum stjórnendum London Contemporary Music Festival. Á meðal samstarfsmanna má nefna Peter Zinovieff, Jennifer Walshe, Aisha Orazbayeva, Sofie Jernberg og Russell Haswell en Lucy hefur komið fram á tónleikum á hundruðum tónleika um víða veröld.

Lucy Railton has worked with some of the leading new music ensembles in London and Berlin and has spent the last decade dedicated to the development of new music through commissions, festival curating and collaborating with prominent artists and musicians making experimental and brand new works. 

She has composed for installations including the Tate Modern and the ICA, London, for the theatre company Complicite and new works have been commissioned by Sonic Acts/Dark Ecology and Borealis Festival, PAF Festival of Film Animation, Czech Republic, Phillippe Parreno and the Portland Film Festival. 

Her current collaboration with Peter Zinovieff has performed at the electronic music festivals Atonal, Rewire and Norberg, and with pianist Kit Downes performances include Koln Philharmonie, BBC Radio and hundreds and thousands of venues around Europe. As well as co-directing a the dance piece Everything that rises must dance with Sasha Milavic Davies (Complicite), she has been co-director of the London Contemporary Music Festival and is founder and curator or Kammer Klang new music series at Cafe Oto, London.
