WELTEN is a young German based band. Their music can be characterised by its warm, melancholic, and sometimes fragile sound, which tends towards minimalist indie jazz.

With floating soundscapes and enchanting atmospheres, WELTEN in large dynamic arcs tells stories of hopes and desires
and takes the audience on a musical journey to icy deserts and grass-cutter ants.

Their compositions open up a wide expanse that suddenly merges into a quiet and intimate proximity, creating exciting changes of perspective that range from the view out into the big world to the view of the very personal inner world.

WELTEN will be performing in Iceland with special guest Óskar Guðjónsson on tenor saxophone.
