San Francisco based Gabriel Gold performs at Mengi on Thursday, August 16th. His performance will feature a set of dynamic, yet meditative works inspired by his personal pilgrimages to sacred spaces around the world. In accompaniment of Gold’s vocals, instrumentation will include the ethereal sound of handpans, crystal singing bowls and piano, as well as the voices of a live choral ensemble on select pieces.

Gold is currently in Reykjavik on an Artist Residency at SIM, working on developing an audio-visual installation.
