Bára Gísladóttir: A lil Requiem before Super Bowl and other stuff
Welcome to Bára Gísladóttir’s concert in Mengi, containing the Iceland premiere of one of her latest pieces, A lil Requiem before Super Bowl, as well as some other stuff (perhaps some of Bára’s solo project for double bass and electronis, but who knows, REALLY?!??!)
A lil Requiem before Super Bowl was written in 2018 for the Danish trio BE:tween:SIDES. The piece describes the circumstances of when Super Bowl is about to start and you really just want to hang yourself.
Björk Níelsdóttir (soprano)
Svanur Vilbergsson (guitar)
Hallgrímur Jónas Jensson (cello)
