Rhízomas
Rhízomas are an experimental ambient noise collective established by Meg Jolie, einarIndra, and Freya Dinesen. They first performed together at Sequences Festival, where they improvised sounds around Guðlaug Mía Eyþórsdóttir’s sculptures in Nýló. Rhízomas have continued to develop their concepts of sounds and environments through this collaboration, envisioning a world of their own while layering lush soundscapes of droning electronics and transcendental vocals to create a synth-fuelled meditative atmosphere.
