Myuné er sólóverkefni Amor Amezcua frá Mexíkó. Tónlistinni má lýsa sem forvitnilegu, leitandi draum-poppi. Síðar á árinu má vænta nýrrar plötu, „Fuera de Lugar“ frá mexíkósku plötuútgáfunni Devil In The Woods.
Ferill Amor hófst við trommuleik með fyrrum hljómsveit sinni, þar sem hún fékk tækifæri til að vaxa og öðlast reynslu. Hún hefur nú komið fram á þekktum hátíðum á borð við Coachella, SXSW, Desert Daze, Nrmal, Ceremonia og túrar nú um heiminn með sólóverkefni sitt.

MSEA, einnig þekkt sem Maria-Carmela, er tónskáld, söngvari og framleiðandi í Reykjavík. Tónlist hennar hefur verið lýst sem martraðarpoppi, stefnusveigjanlegri, eterískri og þungri. Með því að blanda áferðarríkum hljóðheimi saman við hvíslaðar laglínur kannar hún mörk fegurðar og vanlíðunar. Rödd hennar er síbreytilegt hljóðfæri sem svífur um í eigin hljóðheimi og hávaða. Stundum truflandi, dimmt eða fullt af gleði umbreytist og vex þetta sólóverkefni í litríku frelsi núllvæntinga. MYRKFÆLNI gaf út nýjustu plötu MSEA í október 2020. Breiðskífa er væntanleg frá henni síðar á þessu ári.

Myuné is the solo project of artist Amor Amezcua.
Myuné is a solo project originated from Tijuana. It is an intriguing and interesting proposal, somewhat dark/dream-pop. Releasing her debut album “Nothing that matters” in 2016. And remerging with a series of volumes with “Moonlight Face” (2019-2020). Self-releasing through her record label Milovat. This year she impresses us with the new release of her new album “Fuera de Lugar”, through the Mexican discography, Devil In The Woods. Where she shows us her emotional learning through his evolution as a musician. Although focuses primarily in music, Myuné immerses us within her audiovisual world. Offering us a complete story.
Amor Amezcua’s music career took off as a drummer in her previous band, where she had the opportunity to grow along her emotional and musical experiences. She got to perform in festivals like Coachella, SXSW, Desert Daze, Nrmal, Ceremonia, and world touring. This year we see her reemerge with her new album where she works in exposing how she has grown to understand life emotionally and musically. This is definitely a promising project you’ll want to follow.

MSEA is the solo project of Reykjavík based music person Maria-Carmela. Her music has been described as nightmare-pop, ethereal, and moody. She combines dreamy textures with whispered melodies and menacing soundscapes, exploring the boundaries between beauty and discomfort. Sometimes unsettling or melancholic, always genre-bending, MSEA shifts and grows with every performance. Her latest album 'I turned into a familiar shape' was released on Icelandic underground label MYRKFÆLNI in 2020 and she is currently finishing her first full-length album to be released in the fall of 2022.
