PJ Fossum is a Copenhagen based pianist, synthesist and electronic musician. Born and raised in Canada working mostly on classical music, and having cut his teeth on the New York jazz scene, he’s been moulded into a versatile and genre defying artist. Now with a focus on improvised music and jazz, he pulls from a diverse range of aesthetic influences in an inventive and expressive manner across both acoustic and electronic instruments creating colourful and inventive sound worlds.
Ana Luisa Diaz de Cossio is a performer-composer musician whose work traverses the space between social structures, individuality, spontaneity, and explores resonance in physical as well as cultural space. Through extreme extended techniques, Ana challenges conventional violin playing, exploring the possibilities and limits of sounds within the instrument. Her music is informed by political, social, and cultural awareness of the systems constituting our societies.
Asalaus is the stage name for experimental musician Ása Önnu Ólafsdóttir (b. 2000), hailing from the underground music scene in Iceland. With a sound that is both raw and intricate, Asalaus creates music that challenges the boundaries of genre and pushes the limits of what is possible in modern music. Ása is also member of the band Ateria that won Músíktilraunir (The Icelandic Music Experiments) in 2018, and of Gaffer ensemble, an experimental group comprised of three friends from The Iceland University of the Arts.
