Sævar Jóhannsson fagnar útgáfu fimmtu plötu sinnar “Where the Light Enters” með útgáfutónleikum í Mengi 7. október kl 20:00
Titill plötunar er dregin af ljóðlínu frá skáldinu Rumi "The Wound is the place where the light enters you".
Fjórða platan var gefin út af Sony og hlaut „you should have heard this“ verðlaunin veitt af Reykjavík Grapevine tónlistarverðlaununum árið 2023. Samhliða sólóverkum sínum hefur Sævar samið og framleitt frumsamda tónlist og tilheyrandi hljóðheim fyrir þrjú leikverk; Mutter Courage (2019), Skuggasveinn (2022) og Hríma (2022) auk þess sem hann samdi bakgrunnstónlist fyrir heimildarmyndina 'Ég Sé Þig' (2022) eftir Önnu Hildi Hildibrandsdóttur.
