ANNA FÄLT

Anna Fält is a versatile singer-songwriter who is passionate about the human voice and especially Nordic folk singing. She´s been touring in Scandinavia for over a decade with her unique concept of solo vocal concerts. Specializing in different singing traditions from her two home countries Finland and Sweden, she combines the bright Scandinavian and dark East-European tones, performing in churches, festivals, folk music venues, clubs and big concert halls.

These concerts are tributes to human voice, singing like you´ve never heard it before!

Anna is mostly known as a solo artist and well-liked vocal coach but is also working in many different co-operations with arts, dance and theatre. Her latest tours and recordings took her to Australia and New Zealand and the new Finnish-Swedish-New Zealand album by her and film composer Karl Sölve Steven is being released in June 2024.

iRÅ!

iRÅ! gathers moments in women's lives in a constant investigation of the meeting between the voice and the percussive dance. The artistic duo Anna Fält & Pia "del Norte" Pohjakallio met in a sounding improvisation for the Swedish national radio in 2013, something that became the starting point for iRÅ!. The performance has since then toured Sweden, Finland, and the British Isles as a stage version as well as on specific sites, concert stages and even on a packing dock.
